Let's do something positive for once. Who is your lawyer of the year? Why? Let's try to be nice. The next post is negative, so you'll get your chance.

Vince Consul, RIP.

As it is the terrible lawyer that takes the most time to wrangle, I'd say the lawyer of the year is anyone that is reasonable, intelligent, and generally unremarkable. They make things more bearable. So, a general thank you to them for not making cases into pissing contests or confusing rudeness with advocacy. Happy Festivus all!
ME ! ! !
I am going with the BK Hottie. She has put up with a lot of shit on this blog this year.
I'm going with Eglet, because HE's RICH B*TCH! (That's a Dave Chappelle quote for all the kids with their panties in a bunch.)
9:09 why don't I ever get you as opposing counsel??
franny. but she gets my vote almost every year
troy fox, of course
Bruce Taylor and Karie Wilson.
Chris Oram - criminal
Chris Kaempfer. Land use and zoning work has slowed down (practically to a screaching halt) but this guy is still the most well respected attorney at the City Council and County Commission....and from what I've seen, extremely busy even in this down economy.
Chris Kaemphfer may be successful but he is not "well respected" -- two different concepts in local government.
8:02 I might take your comment seriously, except for the fact that I believe he is well respected by not only his clients, but elected officials, and county/city staff (hence the reason I refer clients to him), on top of the fact that you cannot even spell his last name correctly.
dear 11:15 pm:
Sorry, Chris! Glad to see you are working late!
Nice guy attorney of the year: Richard Scow
Totally agree on Richard Scow
Yeah, I mean Richard Scow is amazing. Totally amazing.
I nominate the DeCastroverde brothers for sponsoring the Rebel Girls. Such a philanthropic act! Thank you!
P.S. Brilliant marketing!
